Fundação Abrinq is a social organization that, since 1990, works for the rights of children and adolescents be respected. From 2010 on, has partnered with the largest and oldest child rights defense NGO in the world, Save the Children International. Projects that both develop in education, health and protection areas throughout Brazil are still in process, but the nationwide programs network has grown, what gives voice to the world on issues that involve the scenario of Brazilian children and will increase the current number of children and adolescents assisted from 260,000 to about 1 million per year over the next five years. Guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN, 1989), Brazilian Federal Constitution (1988) and the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (1990), the Foundation has the following strategies: to incentive and pressure in order to implement public actions, strengthening of non-governmental and governmental organizations to provide services or rights defense, encouragement of social responsibility, social and political articulation in building and defending rights and acquaintance of Brazilian reality regarding rights of children and adolescents issues.
